Last Post- 5/12

Blood is a huge symbol showed in this play. It can be interpreted that it represents the guilt that the Macbeth's have. They kill all of these people and when they do they bleed immensely. Their guilt grow heavier after every murder. This begins to haunt Lady Macbeth one night when she has a nightmare when more and more blood begins to get all over her dress and body. Eventually, this freaks her out and the guilt leads her to commit suicide.

Macbeth on the other hand is so guilty about everything he has done, he begins to lose his mind. He is killing people without thinking twice. He is making these decision impulsively. He ends up going to war and there is more blood that he has seen before and he has to go alone and he knows this is because it is his fault that his wife is dead She could not handle all of the wrongs her husband was doing. Ironically, she was the one who convinced him to kill Duncan in the first place. But, he still feels guilty of this.
