A Time of Miracles- 200 minutes
School is almost over and I am so excited. Summer is the best time of the year because other than summer reading you are required to do nothing. You get to hang out with you friends, go to the beach, and relax. I wish summer was longer because then I would cherish school more and have more time to spend with my friends and family. I feel like school is always stressing me out.
I love Episcopal don't get me wrong. I have been a student here since Kindergarten, but as time goes by I am catching senioritis. The thought of being on my own is so close but yet so far. As much as I want to be off at college, I think I will really miss home and life where all I am worried about is making my bed and getting good grades. When I am out in the real world, I have more responsibility and have to go to work and no one is there to catch me when I fall.

Blog 4/14
For this week, please post your reading/working time, including time you spent working on your Nervous Conditions project outside of class.
Nervous Conditions Project- 2 hrs
Also, respond to two of the statements below, explaining whether you disagree strongly, disagree, neither agree nor disagree, agree, or agree strongly. Use examples from your experience and connect the statement to Macbeth.
1. Women are more compassionate and less violent than men.
I neither disagree nor agree because this statement could go both ways. In Macbeth, I feel as though Lady Macbeth wants to kill King Duncan more than Macbeth does because she thinks he is too nice and will chicken out. However, Lady Macbeth does say: "unsex me here." This could be interpreted as she needs God to turn her into a man, so she will have no guilt to kill Duncan as if she was a man. In her mind, men should have no fears and do violent things with no regrets.
2. Some things are destined or fated to happen.
I agree with this because everything happens for a reason because God has a plan for everyone's life whether you like it or not. In this story, Duncan is killed for a specific reason that we, as the reader, do not know about yet. Everyone wants to kill him because they are upset that Malcom is his successor, so maybe he would have done a bad job ruling. We will soon find out what the reason is.
